## What IT Manages

On managed company devices, IT may:

- Install/remove approved applications
- Enforce security settings (encryption, updates, device compliance)
- Configure email, VPN, Wi-Fi, certificates, and device policies
- Lock or wipe a device if it’s lost/stolen or during offboarding

## What IT Does NOT Do (Routine)

IT does not routinely:

- Read your personal messages
- Monitor your screen live
- Browse your files “for fun”
- Track keystrokes

Access is based on operational need, security requirements, and company policy.
